A night of waiting in line...

Tonight Barnes N Noble hosted Author Laura Numeroff. She wrote the If you Give a... Book Series. She was supposed to read her new book If You Give A Cat A Cupcake and then sign books. Well, as we walked into Barnes N Noble we heard an announcement that due to the time constraints Laura wasn't going to be reading her book (a book that takes no more than 7 minutes to read), but will be signing books. My neighbor Renee, and her two kids Preston & BrookLyn, Madison, Zach & I got in line and after TWO HOURS were still an hour if not more away from getting our book signed-so we jumped ship. Seriously, how long does it take to sign a book!?!?! Our fun night was bummed out to not getting to hear her read the book or getting our books signed. Oh well, the kids had fun and Renee bought a kitten that they had for adoption there. Next time we'll know!
