Vacation Day 10
Today was our last day at Yellowstone, and we had a mission. I wanted to see Old Faithful from start to finish-and preferably not in the snow. Bobby wanted to see animals-not buffalo or Elk, but BEARS-a Grizzly Bear! Well our mission was complete! We started out the morning and headed straight to Old Faithful. It was about 40 minutes before it was supposed to go off so we crawled in the back of the Denali and had another picnic lunch. When it was time we stood outside and got some great pictures (Sorry its not letting me download them now, but I will download them all as soon as I'm able). Bobby took Madison, Zach & my picture in front of Old Faithful going off to prove that we were actually there and didn't just buy the post card. From there we headed back up to the Northeast section of Yellowstone (Tower Falls) and started on our bear hunt. We saw Rams, a grizzly bear (we think), tons of Elk & Buffalo & a black bear. The black bear was HUGE he was resting his head on a log-I think he wanted to go back into hibernation. We stopped at the gift shop and had ice cream-it was a very nice relaxing day. Tomorrow we are headed up into Montana to visit what Bobby calls "the real Tech".
