So much fun!

We've had some fun the last few days. Our trip to chic fil a and the chocolate bar was lots of fun. My cousin Marcia met us there with Grace & George. If your ever in need of chocolate this is the place to go-even the stuff you would think is vanilla is actually white chocolate. I forgot to take a picture of my dessert before I ate it-so here is a picture of it after the fact. Look at these cakes--they were HUGE! They made me think of the cakes in Pollyanna that they bring to the bazaar.

Thursday night was our VBS Family night. All of the kids preformed a song with their grade level--I was shocked that I didn't have to convince Madison to go up on stage, and was even more impressed when Madison was actually up there singing and doing the motions! Madison had so much fun last week. Also, the kids were given a goal of money they wanted to raise for the missions in Africa. If they reached their goal all of the ministers got pies thrown at them. Well the reached their goal-and they got their pies--in front of the kids. They loved every minute of it.

Today was Cade's 2nd birthday party at McDonalds. It was actually not bad. All of the kids played on the playground while the adults sat around and talked. Zach wasn't all the impressed until I found a play area just for him (sorry I wasn't about to let him crawl around on the filthy floor!). After the party we headed back to my parents house so Tessa & Madison could have an afternoon together. They went to Arts of Glaze and painted and then headed to the mall for a little lunch and shopping. This evening Tara & Matt came over with Cade & Reid and the boys played and had a great time. Here are a few pictures of Zach's new trick--he (started today) is walking behind Cade's bus. He started walking behind it and then he and Cade took turns pushing each other around. It is so funny--yesterday if you even tried to stand him up to walk he would put his legs out in front of him like he was sitting in mid-air, and today he's a walking fool-with something to hold onto of course. Can't wait to see what tomorrow holds!

ps-update on our house--they didn't do much this week (which is a good thing) except paint the outside and clear off the front yard. We had someone do a 2nd showing today, but haven't heard anything back from them yet.
