Frio Fun

Every year we join my parents and what sisters can join us and head out to the Frio River. We started going years ago and could fit into one of the cabins at Frio Country. Well, we've grown over the last couple of years where now we have to rent a house. This year we stayed at a new house that had 6 separate rooms each with their own bathroom, and enough beds in each to sleep 4. Perfect for us. Unfortunately, Tiffany, Tessa & Taleigh couldn't make the trip this year so we invited Mr & Mrs Goza or as Madison used to call them Boy & Girl Goza. It was a GREAT time of relaxing. The river was VERY low because of the lack of rainfall so we only made it to the river one afternoon. The kids were none the wiser. They had a blast just hanging out!

When we got there we all headed over to this restaurant. The kids love the little park and didn't want to leave.
Zach and Reid riding the fire truck

Katie wanted in on the fun. She kept climbing up and sliding down the slide Attempting to get a picture of the grandkids-Zach wanted nothing to do with it. He wanted to keep riding the fire truck

The house had a huge patio-my parents brought their kid sized picnic table so the kids enjoyed most of their meals outside. The house also had a great pool with a beach front entry. Katie and Bobby enjoying the cool water

S'more time!
Since there was a burn ban we had to improvise and use the grill to roast our marshmallows

Zach and Katie LOVED the s'mores

Our trip to the actual river

Cade

Katie-love that she sticks her foot in the air when she laughs. One of my favorite pictures of Zach he is doing the exact same thing.

Love that crinkle nose!

This field was part of the property the house was on. It was a perfect place to fly a kite. The other side of the house had a sand volleyball court.

Mimi bought all the boys matching pajamas. They were so excited to wear them-and Zach picks them every time they are clean

Thanks Mimi and Pa for a fun weekend!
