Moving week

We have finally moved and are almost completely settled in. We still have boxes to unpack and projects to complete, but we are getting used to calling our new house home. We've been here for almost a week and Madison and Zach are already loving the fact that they have a playroom where they can watch the TV that they want and have toys thrown everywhere. Madison has been a great help by making sure it's picked up at the end of the day (I'm not sure how long this will last). My biggest concern is that Madison would meet a new friend that she could ride the bus with. One of the first nights we were here we met a 10 year old girl named Erica, but she's going into 5th grade and will be at the Intermediate School. Days went on and no little girls (or boys) were in sight until Sunday night-we came home from Mimi & Pa's and I went out to check the mail only to find TWO little girls Madison's age!! Kadence is 7 and going into 2nd grade and Kirsten is 8 and going into 3rd grade and is in Madison's homeroom!! What an answer to prayers. Madison is all ready for school-she has outfits picked out for the first 2 days of school, a new backpack & pencil bag, and a new pair of tennis shoes-and most importantly friends to get on the bus with!

Here are a few pictures of our move...
Bobby putting together a cubby for Madison & Zach's toys

The playroom before the furniture

Our room at the old house all packed and ready to be moved

Moving day at the old house-**Update-we have a contract on this house and it has gone through the option period!! We are hoping to close on 9/4th!

Our only issue-this is our Armour for our bedroom furniture, but we can't fit it through the door--looks like he is going to live in the living room for now!

Madison & Zach in the playroom watching TV-they we both dancing and acting goofy--notice how they are sitting

Zach just couldn't wait for lunch-he fell asleep in his high chair and ended up taking a 2 hour nap!!

We had the same problem with our Armoire. It is currently in the garage and our TV still sits on my dresser. Bummer! :)

love the house. love the picture of Madison and Zach on their knees; he must have been really tired to go to sleep in his chair
