Meet the Teacher

Last night Madison got to go up to her new school for the first time and meet her teacher. She was SO nervous! She talked non-stop the way there and asked to bring one of her stuffed animals to hang onto in the car. I think she squeezed her bear the whole ride there! We got there and the school was a lot less crowded-their enrollment last year was 356 students compared to 1100 at Robison last year. Everyone seemed super nice including Madison's new teacher, Mrs. Vanadore. She just moved to Conroe on Sunday so her room wasn't completely set up, but she sounded like a lot of fun. She was very energetic and talked about if she didn't have any boys in the classroom she would paint the room pink-her favorite color. Madison's eyes just lit up-like they were going to be friends forever! We bought Madison a new school shirt and found out about the dress code (she gets to wear flip flops!) and made our way back to the car. When we left the school she told me she can't wait until Monday she is so excited to start school!! That was very nice to hear-considering she's cried lots of tears about changing schools.
