First Day of School

Today was Madison's first day of school. This year her school starts at 8:05 so we had to get up a lot earlier than last year. We've been practicing getting up earlier for the last week and so far had no problems. This morning was the same-I went in and woke Madison up at 6:00am and she got right up we had a quiet breakfast with just the 2 of us and enjoyed the hour before we had to go to the bus stop. Madison was SO excited about today! I can't wait until she gets home to hear all about it!

showing off the shoes-the day we bought these we went to the Academy right by our house, and she picked out another pair of shoes, but they were out of them in her size. They told us that the closest location that had her size was on 336-who knew that 336 hit 45 twice. Well after driving around for about an hour we finally found it. As soon as we got inside it started pouring down rain! The lights went off a couple of times and Madison decided that she liked these shoes better. She tried them on and walked, jumped, skipped and ran around the shoe department making sure they fit her well. It was hysterical! Since that day-she has talked about how excited she was about wearing her new shoes. They are cute aren't they!

Finally, around 7:25 the bus made it! And Madison jumped on ready to begin her day.
