decorating the house

Last Friday & Saturday I spent the day on a mission. I was in search of things for our house. I needed stuff for the walls & knick nacks for my kitchen cabinets. And according to my mom a few things to really finish the guest room. Hobby Lobby has become my new best friend. I love all the money I'm saving. Yes I said saving-you see I'm getting everything half off--so I'm saving tons! :-) Bobby & Cecil don't get this concept, but Sheri & I are in complete agreement. Anyways-Friday I found this for my bedroom, This cute sign that I'm not sure where I'm going to put yet, and a few other things. Saturday my mom came over and she brought over a few things that she found while she's been out shopping and then we headed out again... we found several pictures at Garden Ridge-again saving money-they were buy 1 get 1 half off. We also went back to Hobby Lobby and bought a towel bar for the guest room.

Bobby has been a busy bee getting everything hung up before I have a few friends over for a digital scrapbooking party--if you read this your more than welcome to come. It's sure to be a lot of fun!

We also headed over to Garden Ridge again today becuase I realized that one of the pictures I got for our bathroom was missing one of the hooks to hang it up. While we were there we found a rug to go under the dining room table. I'm hoping it works becuase it was only $50!! They had a replacement picture that had the hook, but it was messed up. So I still need something to go over the towel bar in my bathroom.
And because I'm not a great decorator--I don't know how to arrange these 3 things on my guest room dresser. And I'm told I need 3 things... so
