Madison just left to spend a 4 day weekend with her dad, and I have BIG plans! I'm redoing her room. A year or so ago I decided that I wanted to redo Madison's room, but I didn't want to do it in the old house I wanted to wait until we moved to the new house. Well things kept coming up and the room is just now being done--even though we moved in this last August. I wanted to have everything done so that when we moved in I would only set her room up once, but since we sold and unsold our house a couple of times, and Ike hit shortly after we got moved in and somewhat settled. This is the first time that I've actually had time to work on it. SO tonight I started stripping her furniture-I have 2 dressers one that has been in her room and is currently black, and another I got at a garage sale that reminds me of McDonald's every time I look at it. Its currently McDonald's yellow with red knobs. But its a very good sturdy piece of furniture I bought for $20 bucks. So here is the somewhat before shot (I have already started unloading her dresser so it's a much bigger mess than it normally is).... so stay tuned so you can see all the transformations!
