What a week!

It always seems like when Bobby is home we have so much going on. This was true this week. For the most part Bobby and I ran around during the day doing typical errands and I even introduced him to the outlet mall. Which he was surprisingly impressed. I think he realized even more that we need to move quickly since the people at Gymboree now recognize me and tell me about what they got in new this week. Which if you haven't been they have really cute cowboy stuff for boys and mermaid stuff for girls. All very cute.

Wednesday night Madison had a program at school. It was called "It's a Small World". They traveled around the world and sang songs from each Country. It was a very cute play. Madison was a Siamese cat-there were 6 of them and they danced as the rest of the second grade sang songs. All in all the program was very cute and Madison had a lot of fun doing it. I just went to download the pictures and my battery in my camera is dead so I'll post some pictures in the morning as soon as I charge my battery.

Every night Madison has to read for 15 minutes as part of her homework. I never have any problems with her doing this. Normally she reads until its time to go to bed, but Thursday night I knew she was going to want to play outside for as long as possible so I had her read before she went out to play. She decided that she would read her new Amelia Bedilia books Nana sent her to Zach. All Zach wanted was the books. She had a stack of 4 or 5 books sitting beside her and it didn't matter where she moved them he was determined to get them. It didn't matter if he had to crawl over her-those books were his! Oh the differences between girls and boys.

I wish I would have thought to take a picture of Zach this morning. I was in the office and Bobby was in the living room with Zach-I wanted to show him something so he came in for maybe 2 minutes and then walked back in the living room only to find Zach had escaped! He was in the kitchen with the broiler drawer open playing with the rack! Good thing the oven was turned off! But his face-he just looked up so angelic like he had done nothing wrong. Am I in for it or what!?! We were really hoping not to have to childproof this house and a new house, but it looks like we're going to have to do something.
