Has it really been 2 years?

Today Bobby & I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. How time flies, and at the same time it's hard to think about how things were before I met Bobby. For those of you who don't know Bobby and I first met at a 4th of July party I had at my parents house. It was for our Sunday School class at First Baptist, and of course with pyro-Bobby there we had fireworks. One in which almost caught the house on fire, but thankfully no one was actually hurt. It was months later in October before we actually had a date, and the following July we were engaged-thanks to Cecil explaining to him that weddings take time to plan and if we got engaged then it didn't mean we would get married during hunting season! Life never has a dull moment with Bobby around-and I couldn't imagine it any other way. A lot has changed over the last 2 years-Bobby started a new job, I quit working (hallelujah!), and we had Zach. I look forward to what God has for us next!

Here are some pictures from our wedding day:

My "something borrowed" was Sheri's pearl necklace, bracelet & earrings
My "something old" & "something blue" was the garter my mom wore in her wedding

My Matron of Honor was my best friend since Kindergarten-Amy O'Hare

I think Madison was just as excited for "our" wedding day to come as Bobby and I were-she kept calling it "our wedding day" meaning mine, Bobby's and hers!

Bobby walking Sheri down the isle

Madison was very specific on how she was to throw the flower petals-she said that she needed to throw them up in the air because it was an exciting time-and if they landed on someone it was okay-they could take that petal home.

Exchanging of the rings-this was very comical because not only did I pick up the box that my necklace came in instead of the one that had my wedding band in it - Thank you Tara & Matt for go by my house and picking it up, but Chris didn't realize that he had a pocket inside his pocket in his suit jacket. But eventually we both got our rings and said "I do!!"

Bobby and I with his family-Cecil, Sheri, Chris & Jenny

The wedding party-(minus Nathan the ring bearer who walked down the isle a day earlier at the rehearsal-he did a really good job-at least he got to wear his really cute outfit)

The wedding cake-not only was this the most delicious cake I've ever had, but I must say I designed a cute cake as well! (the inside layers were chocolate and vanilla alternating as well). This was our compromise instead of having a white grooms cake and a chocolate wedding cake.

Lots of friends and family were there-Jill Guerrero, me (of course), Jill Haywood & Mindy Skoglund
