Bobby can see!

We just got home from Bobby's lasik surgery. Everything went well. The numbing drops wore off before they started his left eye so he felt everything. He said it was very painful, but when they brought him back to the room they gave him some pain drops and he said that it felt much better. He read the instructions the Dr gave us on his way home and pointed out that he could see individual bricks and could even read some liscence plates--all which he couldn't do without glasses before the procedure. He did get some really cool goggles that he is going to wear for the rest of the day today and he gets to sleep in them for about a week. I guess I need to get used to sleeping with a bug!
Oh-I couldn't go back to the other waiting room becuase I had Zach with me-which is probably a good thing-I'm sure I would have passed out. The Dr was telling me insturctions on the drops he has and all I could think of is-I'm so glad he can give himself drops! I don't think I could look at his eyeball right now!
