Tonight Zach & I headed up to the school to watch Madison's school program. They did a WONDERFUL job! It was called This Is America and they sang 6 patriotic songs. Madison was asked to have a small speaking part, but told her teacher she was too shy to do it in front of all the teachers-so instead she sang in the choir. She did a great job-signing "I Love My Country". The school also did a wonderful job honoring of all the veterans. They had a slide show showing different family members & friends of students that have or are currently serving our Country. Among some of the songs were "God Bless The USA" and my new favorite "American Tears" which a very talented 3rd grader sang a solo--I was super impressed! Madison & all the other 3rd graders you did a WONDERFUL job and I thoroughly enjoyed your program!
The Color Guard

Madison is hard to see--I had to sit at the very back since I had Zach by myself, but she is in the center wearing a Navy t-shirt with a star on it.
