Madison & Zach had their last swim lesson-Madison's was all about safety and Zach was just a review of what they were supposed to learn over the course of the class. Bobby & Zach were the only 2 people in class that day so they didn't sing the normal songs, but they worked a lot on blowing bubbles.
This time of year always catches me off guard. Is it really the end of school? Is Madison really finishing SECOND grade??? It really seams just like yesterday that I was changing her diapers, watching her crawl and learn to walk, and now-it will be just a few short months before she starts third grade. Bobby & I are so proud of Madison! Last Wednesday she got an award for making all A's & B's all year long! This was a very tough year for Madison as this was the first year that she was actually getting number grades, had a lot more tests, and more homework, but she proved to us that she's a very hard worker and tries very hard to understand and learn all that she can. Way to go Madison! Here is a picture of her getting her award from Mr. McIlduff her principal (my 5th grade art teacher) and her standing with her award.
We also celebrated my mom's birthday. My dad was out of town so Tara cooked dinner and I brought dessert! Happy 25th birthday Mimi!
Tessa came in from school a couple of weekends ago and Taleigh made it in this last week-so before they headed back to Summer School we tried to spend as much time as possible with them. Saturday and Sunday we grilled out and swam-it was a beautiful weekend.
A couple of weeks ago Mimi bought Cade & Zach matching Thomas the Train pajamas-Tessa thought that she could get a picture with both of them. Sorry this is the best we could do.
Zach does not like hats at all. Normally as soon as you put it on he takes it right off, but my dad put his Cabelas hat on his and he left it alone. Hopefully his wish list won't be as big as his dad's!
The Colwell house is well, full of boxes right now. We FINALLY sold our house! I only have a few more things to pack and the house will be completely in boxes. We close June 13th, but our new house won't be ready until the end of June. So Madison, Zach & I will stay at my parents while Bobby goes back to work until the house is ready. Thanks for all of those who have prayed for our house to sell during this difficult time to sell. I'll post pictures of the new house as soon as I get some. Of course-I forgot to take pictures when I was there last.
