Madison

As I said in my previous post we have been crazy busy this year and even crazier these first two weeks of Summer. Here are a few pictures of what Madison has been up to.

Swim team started mid April. She's had practice 5 days a week and then swim meets every Saturday. She swam in her last meet this last Saturday and did great! It was so fun to see her take seconds off her time each week. Practice DOES make a difference and it shows!!

Here is Madison (with the pink camo cap) swimming butterfly. This last Saturday she took TEN seconds off her IM!! Way to go Madison-SO VERY PROUD of YOU!!!!

I don't have any pictures of it, but the first week of Summer Madison attended a Golf Camp at Augusta Pines. If you have kids that are wanting to learn how to play I would highly recommend it! She went for 3 hours Mon-Wed and learned the rules of golf and the different strokes and clubs. Then on Thursday they got to actually play a couple of holes. She was slow to start, but thankfully our neighbor Trevor was there (his girls went to the camp too) and he walked her through a couple of swings and she was a rock star!! She is ready to go to the golf course now!

Here is Madison at the end of Band Camp. They had a great concert at the end and she learned a lot.

The last day of 5th grade. Still can't believe she's a 6th grader!
